Lawrence Lee's gallery talk on October 24, 2009 © Allison V. Smith

Students from Studio Arts Dallas © Allison V. Smith

Lawrence Lee's gallery talk was a success this past Saturday. We had quite a crowd, including several students from Barley Vogel's class at Studio Arts Dallas. Lawrence told the stories of many of his characters, and also discussed his process and inspiration. After the talk, the kids spent some time talking to Lawrence and then did some sketching in the gallery.
